SAFETY & TRUST
A thoughtful process, designed for families.
Before an ArtSitter can be assigned to a family, ArtSit reviews their application, interviews them, reviews references, verifies identity and required documentation, and confirms their agreement to ArtSit’s policies and expectations. When applicable, we also review available TrustLine or background-check information.
We share relevant information clearly and match each session with care, so parents can feel informed, comfortable, and confident about who they welcome into their home.

What does ArtSit cost?+
No monthly membership required. Every booking is reviewed individually, and you’ll receive a personalized estimate before confirming your session.
Are art materials included?+
Art activities are based on what you choose or request when submitting your session request. If materials are needed, a separate materials fee will be included on your estimate for you to review before approving the session. Sales tax applies to materials only.
How do I book?+
Submit a session request at least 48 hours in advance whenever possible. ArtSit reviews your family’s needs, checks team availability, and sends an itemized estimate. Your session is confirmed only after payment and final confirmation from ArtSit.
How do I cancel?+
If you need to cancel your ArtSit session, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@joinartsit.info or 209-445-3888. If your session has already been confirmed, any applicable cancellation terms will follow the policy provided with your booking.
How do I pay?+
After you submit a session request, we’ll send you an estimate to review. Once you approve the estimate, we’ll confirm your session and send you an invoice with a secure payment link.
Where is ArtSit available?+
Our flagship service area is Merced, California, and surrounding communities.
Can I request a particular ArtSitter?+
Yes. Tell us if you have a preference. ArtSit makes the final assignment based on availability, experience, location, activity training, and your family’s needs. If your preferred ArtSitter is unavailable, we may suggest another qualified team member.
What safety information is available?+
ArtSit reviews each applicant through an interview, reference review, identity and required-documentation checks, and applicable TrustLine or background-check information. We also consider your child’s needs and the details of your session when making an assignment, and we’re happy to answer questions before you confirm.
Are ArtSitters employees?+
ArtSit is building its ArtSitter team as part-time employees. ArtSit establishes service standards, coordinates assignments, manages family payments, and pays employees through payroll.
How much notice is required?+
Please request sessions at least 48 hours in advance. Requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice are not guaranteed. Any applicable charges will be included in your estimate before booking.

ArtSit is a creative childcare service and is not a daycare, school, or licensed childcare facility. ArtSit coordinates bookings and assigns ArtSitters as members of its team. All requests remain subject to availability, screening requirements, payment, and final confirmation.
